About TexasBets

Home / About

TexasBets helps Texas bettors find offshore sportsbooks that treat them fairly. We open real accounts, bet live Texas markets and report what we find, plainly.

Our mission

With no state-regulated sportsbooks live in Texas, bettors are left comparing dozens of offshore sites on marketing claims alone. We exist to close that gap: to test which sportsbooks pay out quickly, price their markets fairly and run a solid app, and to rank them so Texans can bet with confidence rather than guesswork.

How we test

We open and verify real accounts, deposit real money, place and settle live bets across Texas favourites such as the Cowboys, Longhorns and Rangers, and request withdrawals across every available method while timing each one. Those measurements drive our rankings. Our full process is on the how we rate page.

How we make money

TexasBets is free to read and reader-supported. When you sign up to a sportsbook through some of our links we may earn a commission, at no cost to you. That is the only way we are funded, and it never changes how we rate a site. We would rather lose a commission than recommend a sportsbook that keeps bettors waiting for their money.

Editorial independence

Scores and rankings are based solely on our testing framework. No sportsbook can pay for a better position, a higher rating or a more favourable review. Where an operator falls short on payout speed, odds, limits or reliability, we say so.

Responsible gambling

Sports betting should stay entertainment, never a way to chase money you cannot afford to lose. We carry responsible-gambling guidance on every page and a dedicated responsible gambling resource. You must be 21 or older to bet at the sportsbooks we cover.
